Drop-off sites
There are 11 Drop-Off Sites throughout the county for the Rusk County Responsible Unit. All of the sites collect both garbage and recycling. Some of them even have additional collections and special spring and fall cleanups. Residents & property owners in the Rusk County Responsible Unit can bring recycling to any of the sites, but must contact their local municipality to see where you should bring your garbage if they don’t live in a municipality that has a site. Residents in the Towns of Big Falls, Dewey and Grow and also Villages of Tony & Weyerhaeuser belong to a different Responsible Unit and cannot use these sites. There is also curbside pickup in the Villages of Bruce, Conrath, Hawkins and Sheldon and also the City of Ladysmith.
